Role Summary:

The Concept/Ideation Specialist is a creative thought leader, responsible for crafting fresh, innovative ideas for our events that resonate with client objectives and brand vision. Success in this position means delivering standout concepts that align with client briefs, meeting both strategic and creative expectations. This role is central to our team’s goal of elevating the experiential quality of our events, making it crucial for shaping and maintaining our reputation for excellence in event innovation.

What Success Looks Like in This Role:

  • Concepts consistently align with client expectations, reflecting an understanding of both brand identity and event goals.
  • Ideation process results in unique, memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression on event attendees.
  • Collaboration with internal teams ensures seamless execution of ideas from concept to final presentation, enhancing client satisfaction and retention.

Role in the Organization:

As part of the ideation and creative team, this position plays a pivotal role in setting the creative direction of our projects. The Concept/Ideation Specialist will work closely with client servicing, production, and design teams to ensure that our ideas are not only visually captivating but also achievable within scope. This role reports to the Creative Lead and partners with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Innovative Concepts
  • Generate fresh, engaging event concepts that align with client briefs and organizational standards.
  • Ensure ideas are strategic, client-focused, and reflect current trends in experiential marketing.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams
  • Work closely with client servicing, production, and design teams to bring concepts to life and ensure a cohesive approach throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Align the concept with the practical requirements and constraints to guarantee effective execution.
  • Client Presentation and Feedback Adaptation
  • Present concepts to clients and stakeholders, articulating the creative process and underlying strategy.
  • Incorporate feedback with a flexible and client-centric approach, refining concepts as needed to align with feedback while maintaining originality and impact.
  • Research and Trend Analysis
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and cultural insights to inform ideation and ensure relevance.
  • Bring fresh, diverse perspectives to the table to enhance the value of our concepts.



Qualifications:
  • Experience:
  • 4-5 years of experience in event concept creation, ideation, or event design within the events or experiential marketing industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong creative thinking and ideation abilities, with a demonstrated history of developing successful event concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey ideas persuasively to both clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to interpret trends and insights for application in the ideation process.
  • Proficiency with visual presentation tools and an understanding of experiential design principles.
