This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes. - Oversee financial reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial statements and reports. - Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies aligned with startup goals. - Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems and processes suitable for a startup environment. - Handle tax filings, regulatory compliance, payroll coordination, and other statutory requirements. - Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and product to support business initiatives. - Manage relationships with external auditors, bankers, and financial advisors. - Monitor cash flow, analyze financial data trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making. - Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting best practices. - Lead or support audits and financial reviews as required.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) preferred. - 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with startups or high-growth companies. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards. - Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; experience with cloud-based tools is a plus. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote setup with strong attention to detail. - Adaptability and comfort working within a fast-evolving startup culture. - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finance management.
