With over 18 years of industry experience, Newage Software has earned a reputation as a trusted technology partner for logistics and freight forwarding companies worldwide.Role Overview :We are seeking a passionate and experienced AI Engineer with deep proficiency in Java and hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning solutions using the AWS tech stack. You will join our growing AI team to build, scale, and optimize high-impact AI-driven products.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and deploy robust AI & machine learning models using Java and AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.).- Integrate AI algorithms and data pipelines into scalable production systems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI use cases, data requirements, and deployment strategies.- Optimise model performance and ensure reliability, security, and scalability of solutions in production.- Maintain end-to-end responsibility for AI projects from prototyping to monitoring.- Continuously research and apply the latest AI/ML technologies and best practices.Required Skills & Experience :- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java programming, with strong software engineering fundamentals.- Proven experience implementing AI/ML models, algorithms, and data processing with Java.- Deep expertise in AWS cloud services, especially those relevant to AI/ML (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, Step Functions, etc.).- Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, DL4J, Weka, etc.) and ability to integrate them with Java applications.- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.- Experience deploying AI solutions at scale, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and cloud monitoring.- Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in an agile team environment.Preferred Qualifications :- Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.- AWS Certification (Machine Learning, Solutions Architect, or equivalent).- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and DevOps.- Exposure to data engineering and ETL workflows.
