Description :Job Title : Senior GCP Data Engineer (7-12 Years).Job Type : Full-Time.Work Mode : Hybrid.Locations : Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune.Job Summary :We are looking for a talented GCP Big Query Data Engineer with strong SQL skills and basic proficiency in Python to join our data engineering team.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly Big Query, and be capable of writing efficient SQL queries to support data transformation, analytics, and reporting tasks.Key Responsibilities :- Design and implement data solutions using Big Query and GCP-native services.- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.- Build and maintain data pipelines to support reporting and analytics use cases.- Perform data validation, profiling, and quality checks to ensure data integrity.- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and engineers to understand data needs.- Write Python scripts for automation, orchestration, and lightweight data processing tasks.- Monitor and improve performance of Big Query workloads and queries.- Maintain documentation of data flows, transformations, and processes.Required Skills & Qualifications :- 5-12 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics or BI development.- Proven hands-on experience with Google Big Query and GCP data services (e.g., Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow optional).- Strong expertise in SQL, including analytical functions, joins, CTEs, and window functions.- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.- Understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modelling and normalization.- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
