Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Researcher at IPPAI in Bengaluru. The Associate Researcher will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports on issues critical to the development of the power sector in India. They will work closely with industry experts, policymakers, and other stakeholders to contribute to the organization's knowledge base.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conducting Primary and Secondary Research for IPPAl and related group companies in the following domains:
  • Regulatory and Policy Issues concerned with the Indian Power and Energy Sector Energy Security and International Relations. 
  •  Water-Energy Nexus.
  • Emerging technologies in Renewable Energy and its implications on the Indian

Power Sector.

  • Role of the Indian Power Sector in the Development of the Nation.
  • Assisting in Preparing Proposals and Whitepapers for the mentioned Research Domains.
  • Assisting in Content Creation and Marketing for Conferences, Training Programs & Workshops for the mentioned Research Domains.
  •  Any other related task that is associated with the companies and is assigned by your reporting Manager.
  • Target base marketing and sales.

 


Qualifications

  • Research, Data Analysis, and Report Writing skills
  • Knowledge of energy policy and regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to work collaboratively with industry experts, policymakers, and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Energy Studies, Economics, Social Studies, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Experience in the power sector or related industry is a plus
