Rapido Cabs made its debut on May 2023, marking the commencement of its services in eight cities. Notably, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Delhi stand out as the primary cities for this initial launch. However, the ambitious plan includes an extensive expansion to encompass over 50 cities in the coming 12 months.

Job Summary:


As an Associate Data Scientist, your primary responsibility will be to assist business and product teams to plan, design and analyze experiments that will help move our KPIs in the right direction. Your role will be to produce mathematically and logically sound analysis and provide insights into experiments and other research threads. You will be part of a dynamic team and regularly work with colleagues from other verticals to co-ordinate and co-exist within an increasingly interconnected Data Science team here @ Rapido.



Job Responsibilities:


Understand problem statement/product requirement

Work with structured and unstructured dataset

Work with Data Engineers to get required data

Exploration and cleaning of relevant datasets

Analyze the data and identify statistical/machine learning models

Creating and managing code base in a replicable way


Job Requirements:


Bachelors in Statistics, Math, CompSci, Econ, Physics, Engineering or related scientific disciplines; preferably from a premier scientific institute like ISI,IISC, IIIT, NIT etc

Work experience - 0-2 years as a Data Scientist

Statistical knowledge - Proven experience in statistical methods like and not limited to Markov Models, Stochastic models, Bayesian Models, Classification Models, Cluster Analysis, Multivariate Stats, Regression Models

Technologies - Proficiency in Python (must have), SQL(must have), and any other prog language; Specific libraries may include - Scikit-learn, pandas

Experience with Kaggle is a bonus
