As a Data Architect, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing the data architecture that supports our diverse business needs. You will work closely with various stakeholders, guiding the modernization of our data platforms and ensuring that our data solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices for data governance and quality. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to drive impactful data initiatives.


Key Responsibilities :


- Define, design, and implement comprehensive data architecture strategies and modernization roadmaps, establishing target architectures that align with business objectives and technological advancements.


- Leverage extensive hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform services, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL (Data Warehouse/Database), and Power BI (PBI) to build and optimize data solutions.


- Lead client engagements, serving as a trusted advisor on data and cloud architecture, and effectively present complex technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders


- Champion and implement data governance best practices across the organization, focusing on data quality, cataloguing, lineage, and security to ensure data integrity and compliance.


- Oversee the end-to-end design and implementation of scalable and high-performance data solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and operational sustainability.


- Provide leadership and guidance in project management and team management, ensuring successful delivery of data initiatives within an agile development :


Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA) in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related quantitative or technical field.


Experience :


- 7+ years of progressive experience as a Data Architect or Cloud Architect, with significant experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management.


- Azure Data Platform Mastery : Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions using key Azure Data Platform components :


1. Azure Synapse Analytics


2. Azure Databricks


3. Azure Data Factory (ADF)


4. Azure SQL (Data Warehouse/Database)


5. Power BI (PBI) for data visualization and reporting.


- Strong understanding and practical experience with data governance principles, including data quality management, metadata management, data cataloguing, and data lineage.


- Extremely strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, capable of dissecting complex data challenges and formulating effective solutions.

- Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical and architectural challenges.


- Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, adapting quickly to new technologies and business requirements.
