Job Summary:
As an SEO Executive at What A Story , you will be responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies to enhance our online visibility and drive targeted traffic to our website. You will work closely with the marketing and content teams to optimize our web content and ensure alignment with our overall digital marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop SEO Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
- Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value keywords and incorporate them into content and campaigns.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs to ensure alignment with SEO best practices.
- Off-Page Optimization: Manage link-building strategies, acquire high-quality backlinks, and enhance domain authority.
- Technical SEO: Perform technical audits, resolve issues related to site structure, indexing, and site speed.
- Content Collaboration: Work with content creators to ensure that content is optimized for search engines and meets quality standards.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to track performance, analyse data, and generate reports.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyse competitor SEO strategies and performance to identify opportunities and threats.
- Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
- SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO techniques.
- Content Optimization: Experience in optimizing content for search engines and improving user engagement.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse SEO data, generate actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Relevant Projects:
- Example Projects: Experience working on SEO for creative platforms, large-scale content marketing campaigns, or high-traffic blogs.
- Demonstrated Success: Proven ability to increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and drive conversions.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
