About the RoleWe are seeking ahands-on Looker Specialistto support our analytics and data engineering teams. The ideal candidate will combinedeep Looker expertisewith a strong understanding ofdata modeling and performance optimization . You will play a key role instabilizing, optimizing, and elevating our Looker ecosystem , ensuring our business teams can access fast, reliable, and actionable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as theprimary subject-matter expertfor all Looker-related needs — including troubleshooting, optimization, and best practices. Audit and enhanceexisting LookML models, explores, and dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability. Collaborate withdata engineersto ensure efficient data structures and semantic layers in BigQuery. Implementgovernance and version controlstandards across Looker assets. Providetechnical guidance and ad-hoc trainingto analysts and business users on Looker capabilities. Drivecontinuous improvementby identifying recurring issues, optimizing query performance, and improving dashboard response times.Required Skills & ExperienceAdvanced proficiency in Looker , including LookML development, dashboard design, and debugging. Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery , including schema design and query optimization. Strong SQL skillsand deep understanding of dimensional data modeling principles. Proven ability to work withlarge and complex datasetsand optimize data pipelines for analytics. Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. Experience in afast-paced, data-driven organizationpreferred.
