Business Development Manager – Pallet Leasing
Location: Indore
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to drive sales and expand our pallet leasing business. The role requires expertise in identifying potential clients, developing partnerships, and ensuring sustainable revenue growth in the logistics and supply chain sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and engage potential clients in industries such as FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, and E-commerce for pallet leasing solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and procurement teams.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth opportunities.
- Develop strategies to position pallet leasing as a cost-effective and sustainable supply chain solution.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for lead generation and brand awareness initiatives.
Client Engagement & Negotiation:
- Present and demonstrate the benefits of pallet leasing to potential clients.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing models, and service agreements.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new customers.
Operations & Coordination:
- Work closely with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure availability and timely delivery of leased pallets.
- Monitor contract performance and address any service-related concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
- Monitor customer feedback and work on service improvements.
- Track competitor activities and suggest proactive business strategies.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in pallet leasing, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive results in a competitive market.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and business expansion.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Pallet leasing, supply chain management, warehousing, FMCG, retail, or logistics services.
