About SalaryBox:SalaryBox is a solution that makes employee management effortless.Our product offers a range of features, from time and attendance tracking to employee payments, and much more.We help small businesses manage their payroll by eliminating the hassle of manual, paper-based processes with our service.You'll always know what you owe employees when payments are due, and who's been paid.With our automated system, you can have your payroll processed in seconds, right from the palm of your hands.Our customers enjoy peace of mind knowing their company is following all regulations.Founded in 2020, we have raised capital from top-tier investors including Y Combinator, DoorDash Inc.s Gokul Rajaram, former Tinder and Spotify executive Sriram Krishnan and former Facebook executive Anand Chandraskeran.Our values are rooted in Customer Empathy & a relentless obsession with Product Innovation.Our passion to build an extremely useful and usable product has helped us grow significantly within a small span of time.About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to own and grow relationships with our MidMarket clients.This role is focused on maximizing revenue through strategic account management, upsell and cross-sell initiatives, and long-term client retention.You will act as a trusted advisor to executives and decision-makers, ensuring our solutions continuously deliver measurable business value.Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary relationship owner for mid market businesses, addressing client needs, escalations, and business priorities.- Actively prospect and generate a viable pipeline of opportunities through multiple channels.- Build and nurture C-level and senior stakeholder relationships, positioning our solutions as essential to their business success.- Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to deliver seamless onboarding, adoption, and value realization.- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and performance check-ins with clients to measure ROI, strengthen partnerships, and uncover new opportunities.- Lead the implementation of new clients, including system setup, training, and ongoing engagement.- Monitor account health metrics and proactively address risks to ensure high retention and client satisfaction.- Provide feedback to internal teams on product enhancements and market needs to support continuous improvement.Who Were Looking For:- 3-6 years of experience in B2B sales with a strong focus on new client acquisition (pure hunting role).- Comfortable with flexible work timings and traveling.- Experience in selling HRTech or Complex SaaS solutions.- Excellent negotiation, communication, time management, and organizational skills.- Industry is agnosticbut preference will be given to people having exposure to working in cloud technology, IT/ITeS, etc.- Proven ability to understand client pain points and propose solutions.- Proven ability to work and effectively communicate with C-level executives and line of business representatives.- Track record of driving results under minimal supervision.- Experience building a vertical/new business is a plus.
