Description :Note : Candidates should possess proven experience in both website development and design and implementation, with specialized expertise in Technical SEO and a working knowledge of broader marketing concepts.Highly appreciate applications from Bangalore location.If not Requesting, you to not to apply.Company Description :eShipz is a fast-growing logistics automation platform designed to help businesses streamline their shipping operations and enhance the post-purchase experience for customers.Offering solutions such as multi-carrier shipping integrations, real-time tracking, NDR management, and freight audits, eShipz provides seamless logistics management.Trusted by over 350 businesses across eCommerce and enterprise sectors, the platform is recognized for its user-friendly analytics, reporting capabilities, and reliable customer support.Job Summary :We are seeking a creative and technically proficient WordPress Designer and Developer who possesses a strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and basic digital marketing principles.The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development, design, maintenance, and optimization of our WordPress websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, highly functional, and optimized for search engine performance and business growth.Key Responsibilities WordPress Design & Development :- Website Creation : Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance WordPress websites from concept to launch, using best practices for both front-end and back-end.- Theme & Plugin Management : Customise and develop WordPress themes and plugins to achieve project-specific functionality and design goals.- Front-End Implementation : Translate design mockups (e., in Figma, Photoshop) into clean, semantic, and efficient code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.- Back-End Functionality : Manage and maintain the website's back-end, including databases (MySQL), server-side logic (PHP), and API integrations.- Technical Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and performance problems quickly and efficiently.- Performance Optimization : Optimize website speed, scalability, and security through caching, image optimization, and code minification.SEO & Basic Marketing :- Technical SEO : Implement and monitor technical SEO best practices, including site architecture, sitemaps, robots.txt, schema markup, and site speed optimization.- On-Page SEO : Work with the content team to ensure all website content is optimized for target keywords, including proper use of headers, meta descriptions, image alt tags, and internal linking.- UX/CRO : Analyse website user experience (UX) and implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve site navigation, call-to-actions, and overall user flow.- Analytics & Reporting : Set up, monitor, and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO/marketing platforms.- Digital Campaign Support : Assist the marketing team with implementing tracking codes (e., for Google Ads, Facebook Pixel) and developing landing pages for digital campaigns.Required Skills & Qualifications :- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, Web Designer, or similar role.- Expert proficiency in front-end technologies : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.- Strong working knowledge of PHP and MySQL for custom WordPress development.- Expertise in the WordPress platform, including custom theme/plugin development, and familiarity with popular page builders (e., Elementor, Gutenberg).- Solid understanding of Technical, On-Page, and Off-Page SEO principles and best practices.- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and basic use of SEO tools (e., SEMrush, Ahrefs).- Proficiency in creating responsive and cross-browser compatible websites.
