Role Overview


We are hiring an STR Manager & Assistant to Founder who will be responsible for end-to-end management of our rental properties – from scouting and setting up units, to creating high-performing listings, to managing guest experiences and housekeeping operations.


This role also involves directly assisting the Founder in operational planning, research, competitor benchmarking, and execution of strategic initiatives. It demands a mix of hospitality expertise, operational management, research skills, and the ability to work closely with the leadership team in a growing startup environment.


Key Responsibilities

Property Sourcing & Setup


Identify potential rental properties.


Oversee setup and ensure units are guest-ready.


Listing Management & Marketing


Prepare and publish listings on aggregator platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.).


Optimize listings with photos, descriptions, and pricing strategies.


Run performance marketing campaigns to boost occupancy and revenue.


Operations & SOPs


Create and implement SOPs for guest check-in, check-out, housekeeping, and guest experience.


Train and monitor housekeeping/operations staff.


Ensure upkeep, quality checks, and smooth property operations.


Guest Experience Management


Handle guest communication, check-ins, and check-outs.


Resolve guest queries and complaints proactively.


Deliver a seamless and memorable guest journey.


Property Management Software


Manage and update PMS/Channel Manager for bookings and availability.


Generate reports and track performance metrics.


Assistant to Founder Responsibilities


Support the Founder with research, competitor analysis, and strategy execution.


Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and performance reviews.


Act as a bridge between Founder and team, ensuring smooth coordination.


Provide administrative and operational assistance in day-to-day decision-making.


Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or Tourism (preferred).


2–5 years’ experience in hospitality, short-term rentals, or property management.


Hands-on experience with Airbnb, Booking.com, and PMS software.


Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Proactive mindset with ability to work closely with a Founder in a fast-growing startup.


What We Offer


Base salary starting at ₹30,000 per month (will be increased depending on candidate’s quality, skills, and experience).
