Job Summary:
The Inventory team, part of the broader Sales Enablement- Inventory & Delivery vertical, is responsible for ensuring optimal utilization of ad inventory across platforms and sports properties. The team partners with the Sales teams, Ad-Ops, Pricing, and Sales Customization team to maintain accurate inventory planning, pricing, and revenue tracking, while enabling seamless deal execution and maximizing monetization opportunities. This role sits at the center of revenue strategy and operations, balancing client needs with business objectives to safeguard and grow ad sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities- 1. Maintaining and Reporting Inventory & Revenue:
- End-to-end inventory tracking and revenue reporting across LTV and Digital platforms for multiple sports properties and regions for Men's Cricket (BCCI, ICC & IPL), Premium Sports (PKL, Premier League, Wimbledon, WPL, Womens'World Cup, ISPL etc)
- Track and report revenue and inventory updates across platforms, assets, and sporting events. Track, monitor and report event-wise and asset-wise fills, STRs, revenues, and ASR/eCPMs.
- Partner with Sales teams across - LCS, Mid-Market, SMB, International, Indirect, and Syndication to collate deal details and inventory commitments, ensuring alignment with overall sales strategy.
- 2. Cross-Team Liaison to execute delivery:
- Collaborate with Sales, Content teams, Ad-Ops, Traffic, and CSM teams to ensure seamless deal execution, maximizing ad sales revenue and minimizing loss.
- Maintain up-to-date asset availability trackers to aid Sales and Planning teams in monetization and deal structuring
- Identify and flag risks related to under-delivery or inventory overbooking, taking proactive measures to mitigate revenue leakage.
- 3. Management Reporting and Business Insights:
- Provide timely and accurate reports to senior management on revenue performance, STRs, inventory utilization, and pricing trends.
- Maintain and update master data for revenue and pricing to capture demand patterns across events and platforms, enabling data-driven planning.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with high rigor in inventory management, pricing accuracy, and reporting.
- Collaborative approach to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
- Strong flair and keen interest in Advertising, Media, and Sports.
- MBA with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in areas such as Strategy, Planning, Analytics, Media, Revenue Planning, or Media Strategy, preferably in the sports or digital media domain.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to draw insights from data.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, with the capability to handle complex data analysis and reporting task.
