Role Overview:
We are seeking a tech-savvy, self-starting, agile, and dynamic Lead HR Generalist (with M&A Focus) to serve as an individual contributor driving group-level HR integration initiatives across Fornax's group companies, with a specific emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. This role requires strong program management, data proficiency, and HR expertise to align policies, systems, and processes, fostering a cohesive organizational culture and supporting strategic business objectives in the Staffing and BPO sectors. The ideal candidate will excel in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and influencing without authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Independently lead end-to-end HR integration programs for mergers and acquisitions across group companies, proactively ensuring timely execution and alignment with strategic goals.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage HR data analytics to assess current systems, identify integration opportunities, and measure the impact of M&A initiatives using KPIs, demonstrating agility in adapting to insights.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and align HR technologies (e.g., HRIS, payroll, performance management tools) to create a unified, tech-enabled HR ecosystem, embracing innovative solutions to support M&A activities.
- Policy and Process Alignment: Standardize HR policies and processes across group companies to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency during M&A initiatives, with a dynamic approach to problem-solving.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with senior leadership, HR teams, and operational managers to build consensus and drive adoption of M&A-focused integration initiatives, showing initiative and adaptability.
- Influence Without Authority: Use strong interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders across group companies, fostering collaboration and alignment with a proactive and engaging approach.
- Cultural Integration: Drive initiatives to promote a unified organizational culture post-M&A, enhancing employee engagement and collaboration with energy and creativity.
- Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies, including communication and training, to ensure smooth adoption of integrated HR processes, acting swiftly to address M&A-related challenges.

- HR Expertise: Deep understanding of HR functions, with proven experience in the Staffing and BPO sectors and a track record of driving HR programs, particularly for mergers and acquisitions.
- Program Management: Strong expertise in managing complex HR programs, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes in M&A contexts.
- Data Proficiency: Advanced skills in HR data analytics, including the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and use metrics to drive decisions.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with HR technologies and familiarity with emerging HR tech trends, such as automation or AI-driven tools, to support M&A integration.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, build relationships, and influence without direct authority.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas and drive alignment across teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., SHRM, PMP, or data analytics certifications) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based HRIS platforms and integration tools, particularly in M&A contexts.
- Knowledge of pan India HR compliance
- Familiarity with employee engagement strategies and cultural transformation initiatives post-M&A.
- Exposure to data visualization tools for HR analytics.
Contract Details
- Engagement: Full-time individual contributor role, based in Bangalore with travel as required to group company locations.
- Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
