Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist Location: Hyderabad (Full-time, On-site) Experience: 3 - 4 Years About Earthful:Earthful is an FMCG company focused on the health and wellness space. Key Responsibilities & KRAs:- Quality Systems Management - Develop, implement, and maintain quality control protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across manufacturing, warehousing, and packaging operations. - Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (FSSAI, HACCP) and internal quality standards. - Supplier & Manufacturer Audits - Audit and approve third-party manufacturers and raw material suppliers. - Ensure all partners comply with GMP, FSSAI, and Earthful's quality benchmarks. - Product Quality Control - Manage quality checks for raw materials, blends, and finished goods through internal testing and third-party labs. - Evaluate sensory attributes (taste, texture, aroma) of products and interpret lab results to maintain product consistency. - Issue Resolution & Process Improvement - Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality deviations and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). - Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain to continually improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency. - Training & Compliance - Ensure successful completion of HACCP, GMP, and Food Security training. - Conduct internal training sessions to ensure compliance across teams. Educational Qualification:- Bachelor's / Master's in Food Technology or related field / MBA Required Skills & Competencies:- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and FSSAI regulations - Experience in conducting supplier and manufacturer audits - Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) - Ability to perform sensory evaluations of food products - Familiarity with third-party laboratory coordination and interpretation of lab results - Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration - Proficiency in documenting and maintaining quality records and reports Why Join Earthful? - Work in a high-growth, mission-driven startup environment - Collaborate directly with experienced founders from IIT Kharagpur & ISB - Impact product safety, quality, and customer satisfaction directly- Opportunity for fast professional growth in the health & wellness space (ref:iimjobs.com)
