Job Title: SAP BASIS Consultant

Total Experience: 5-8 Years

Location: Pune(Work From Office)


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Performed EHP Upgrades, SPS Upgrades, SAP S/4 HANA System Sizing,
  • SAP ABAP/JAVA System Refresh Using Backup/Restore and Export/Import method
  • Good understanding on Oracle Database administration.
  • Responsible for administration and maintenance of various SAP systems on UNIX (e.g. AIX) Installation, Configuration, Administration, maintenance on Windows platforms.
  • Worked in planning & building SAP systems for various new SAP Solutions.
  • Worked on end to end implementation projects and support.
  • Possess good knowledge on administration concepts IDM (Identity Management)
  • Good knowledge on core SAP Basis administration of SAP ECC, SCM, Solution Manager and Net weaver components like SAP BI, EP and PI, TDMS, Trex, Sourcing, Installation and configuration of SAP ECC6.0 & Net weaver 7.0/7.1/7.3
  • Performed Database Refresh and various Homogeneous and Heterogeneous system copies.
  • Having good knowledge on applying support packs, upgrade kernel, user administrations, Visual Admin Tool, client administration and handling error resolving.
  • Transport Management System (TMS) - Complete setup of Correction & Transport System (CTS) using STMS, created transport layer, transport routes using workbench organizer and Transport Organizer, import monitoring and troubleshooting TP problems in the TMS landscape
  • SAP License management, Generation of SAP license audit report using LAW and related configuration.
  • Client Administration - Client Creation, assigning Logical System to client. Client copy, Client export, Client import, Remote Client Copy, Client Deletion.
  • User Administration: Managed SAP server’s security like creating user ids based on standard naming convention, resetting passwords, locking and unlocking user IDs monitored user logins, user sessions.
  • Database Management –
  • Backup, Recovery and Restoration using BRTOOLS and Table space administration, database reorganization for Oracle Database.
  • Backup, Recovery and Restoration using Hana Cockpit/ Studio for Hana Database.
  • Creating RFC Connections Using JCO RFC Provider
  • Installed and Configured Fiori Front-End and Back-End Components
  • Configuring Memory Parameters, adding server process Using Configuration Tool
  • SSO configuration in Enterprise Portal (EP)
  • Able to communicate clearly and honestly with clients, peers and managers
  • Possess excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting and issue resolution skills


SAP HANA Administrator:

  • Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems. Exposure to different remote access options in HANA system.
  • Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems.
  • HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
  • Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA system (including T-codes and Fiori).
  • Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory.
  • HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, Modelling.
  • SAP Business Objects and HANA integration, Design document,
  • Experience with high availability and backup mechanism.
  • Implementing SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system.
