We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Security Consultant with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration and security, with a proven track record of managing and securing SAP environments.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, authorization management, and compliance standards to ensure the integrity and security of our SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP Basis Administration : Perform SAP Basis administration tasks, including system installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.

Security Management : Design, implement, and manage SAP security roles and profiles, ensuring appropriate access controls and compliance with security policies.

Authorization Management : Develop and maintain authorization concepts for various SAP systems (e.g. ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori).

User Management : Manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations, ensuring secure and efficient access to SAP systems.

System Monitoring : Monitor SAP systems for security breaches, performance issues, and compliance violations, taking corrective actions as necessary.

Compliance : Ensure SAP systems comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, SOX, and HIPAA.

Incident Response : Respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Patch Management : Apply security patches and updates to SAP systems, ensuring systems are protected against vulnerabilities.

Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and configurations.

Collaboration : Work closely with IT, audit, and business teams to understand security requirements and implement appropriate security measures.

Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest SAP security trends, technologies, and best practices, continuously improving security processes and capabilities.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience : 6 to 10 years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration and security.

Technical Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis administration, including system installation, configuration, and maintenance.

- Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, including roles, profiles, and authorization management.

- Experience with SAP systems such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Fiori.

- Proficiency in user and authorization management.

- Knowledge of SAP security monitoring and auditing tools.

- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations (e.g. GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).

- Experience with applying security patches and updates.

- Proficiency in database management (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
