We are in search of a highly skilled SAP Basis Security Consultant with 6 to 10 years of solid experience to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in SAP Basis administration and security, demonstrating a successful history of managing and securing SAP environments.

This role calls for profound knowledge of SAP security concepts, authorization management, and compliance standards to uphold the integrity and security of our SAP systems.


Key Responsibilities :
  • SAP Basis Administration : Carry out SAP Basis administration tasks, including system installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Security Management : Develop, implement, and oversee SAP security roles and profiles to ensure appropriate access controls and alignment with security policies.
  • Authorization Management : Formulate and uphold authorization concepts for diverse SAP systems (e.g. ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori).
  • User Management : Supervise user accounts, roles, and authorizations to guarantee secure and efficient access to SAP systems.
  • System Monitoring : Monitor SAP systems for security breaches, performance issues, and compliance violations, taking necessary corrective actions.
  • Compliance : Verify SAP systems comply with pertinent security standards and regulatory requirements like GDPR, SOX, and HIPAA.
  • Incident Response : Address security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Patch Management : Apply security patches and updates to SAP systems, ensuring protection against vulnerabilities.
  • Documentation : Keep up-to-date documentation of security policies, procedures, and configurations.
  • Collaboration : Collaborate closely with IT, audit, and business teams to grasp security requirements and apply suitable security measures.
  • Continuous Improvement : Keep abreast of the latest SAP security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance security processes and capabilities.

Required Qualifications :
  • Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience : 6 to 10 years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration and security.
  • Technical Skills :
    • Indepth knowledge of SAP Basis administration, including system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
    • Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, including roles, profiles, and authorization management.
    • Experience with SAP systems such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Fiori.
    • Proficiency in user and authorization management.
    • Knowledge of SAP security monitoring and auditing tools.
    • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations (e.g. GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).
    • Experience with applying security patches and updates.
    • Proficiency in database management (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).
    • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
