Purpose of the Role: As the Manager - Supply Chain (Infrastructure), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain activities related to infrastructure projects across all locations of Tata Steel Foundation.


Key Deliverables:

  • Oversee and manage the procurement process for infrastructure projects, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, engineers, and finance teams, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, and cost requirements.
  • Analyse supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management, incorporating them into the organization's processes and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in procurement and supply chain management.


Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred in Supply chain or logistics.


Minimum No. of years of experience: 3 years of experience in supply chain management in the infrastructure sector.


Technical Skill Sets required:

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and processes, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in procurement and contract management for infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in procurement and supply chain management.
