Most importantly, we love solving problems.If you think you're cut out from a similar cloth, we'd encourage you to apply for this role.Job Purpose: Procurement Manager will handle overall Procurement process like Strategic sourcing, Forecasting, conduct research, negotiate with vendors, evaluate bids, analyze data, Develop & implement Procurement strategy.Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy & Planning - Define procurement strategies for timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven material acquisition- Optimize inventory management by determining bulk vs. on-demand purchasing based on project needs- Develop and oversee procurement execution plans covering purchasing, logistics, shipping, and inspectionsSupplier Management & Negotiation - Identify and evaluate suppliers based on project requirements, credit terms, and performance metrics- Build long-term relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts and credit terms - Continuously assess supplier performance to ensure reliability and quality Operational Procurement & Coordination - Process purchase orders and manage the flow of goods to meet production timelines - Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors, Project, and Accounts teams to align procurement with project priorities- Ensure accurate cost calculations, invoice allocations, and order status tracking Inventory & Cost Control - Monitor inventory levels and consumption patterns to avoid shortages or overstocking - Approve bills, track requisitions, and maintain purchasing records and reports - Analyze and review purchase comparisons for cost-effective - Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field - Language Proficiency: English, Hindi - Minimum required Experience: 5-8 years Skills and Abilities - Management of Financial Resources - Financial Analysis - People Management Skills - Decision Making - Planning, organization, and detail orientation - Visionary and strategic (ref:iimjobs.com)
