- The Collections Manager is responsible for managing the organization's collections portfolio, developing and implementing effective collection strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payments.

- The role involves working closely with the sales team, addressing disputes, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and processes while driving overall collection efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Manage the collections portfolio and build strong customer relationships.

- Develop and execute effective collection strategies to drive cash forecasting and reporting on payment trends.

- Engage with key clients to ensure timely payments, identify causes for delayed payments, and maintain consistent follow-ups.

- Collect past-due invoices and address invalid deductions through email, phone calls, and other communication methods.

- Investigate disputed invoices and facilitate resolution by coordinating with billing and operations teams.

- Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with the sales team to ensure alignment on collection priorities.

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, business processes, and internal controls.

- Initiate appropriate legal actions on delinquent cases as necessary.

- Calculate monthly provisions for doubtful debts based on accounts receivable and company policy.

- Deliver data and reports for audit purposes as required.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Attention to detail and goal-oriented mindset.

- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

- Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues across various levels within the organization.

- Self-motivated, flexible, and energetic approach to work.

- Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Prior experience in collections or accounts receivable management.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve payment issues.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive client relationships.
