Job Description :


In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of complex IT projects across diverse technologies.

Leveraging your 8-10 years of experience and hands-on development background, you will ensure projects meet client requirements, timelines, and quality standards.

You will also foster strong client relationships, manage resources effectively, and drive profitability for assigned accounts.

Responsibilities :

Project Delivery Excellence :

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects across various technologies, including Java, .NET, Python, and more.

- Drive the project lifecycle from initiation to closure, adhering to Agile, Waterfall, or other relevant methodologies.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all client specifications and quality expectations.

- Implement risk management practices to proactively identify and mitigate potential project challenges.

Client & Stakeholder Management :

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all communication.

- Translate client needs into actionable project plans and strategies, ensuring clear alignment with business objectives.

- Manage client expectations effectively and proactively address any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.

- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues transparently to all stakeholders, including senior management and team members.

Technical Leadership & Resource Management :

- Provide technical guidance and direction to project teams, drawing on your past development experience.

- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams with expertise in various technologies.

- Optimize resource allocation across projects, identifying and addressing skill gaps within the team.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting continuous learning and development.

Financial Management & P&L Ownership :

- Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for assigned accounts, ensuring projects achieve or exceed financial targets.

- Develop and monitor project budgets, proactively identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing expenses effectively.

- Track project performance metrics and develop strategies to optimize project profitability.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement :

- Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed established standards.

- Conduct regular project reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement new solutions.

- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8-10 years of experience in IT project delivery, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects across diverse technologies (e., Java, .NET, Python, web development frameworks).

- Hands-on development experience in at least one of the following : Java, .NET, Python, or similar programming languages.

- In-depth understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and best practices.

- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps principles (a plus).

- Experience working with version control systems (Git, SVN) and project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.

Soft Skills & Management Qualities :

- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

- Demonstrated experience in resource management, including team building and performance management.

- Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on building trust and exceeding expectations.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in working with global clients across different industries.

- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.

- Experience in working with global clients/Indian Clients across different industries.

- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) or Agile methodologies is a plus.

- Experience in working with Indian govt projects will be and added advantage
