You’ll be thetechnical backboneof TrainTrack — responsible for designing, building, and deploying the first complete version of the product. You’ll own architecture decisions, write production-ready code, integrate wearable data, and collaborate directly with the founding team and AI engineer to make the algorithm work in the real world. This is a builder’s role — ideal for someone who loves working across the stack, thrives in early-stage environments, and wants to shape a product that can redefine fitness intelligence.Key Responsibilities 1. Architecture & Development Design and build thecore platform architectureacross frontend, backend, and cloud. Developtwo mobile apps(physiotherapist + user) using a shared codebase (React Native / Flutter). Build thebackend(Node.js / Python) with secure authentication, role management, and data APIs. Set updatabasesfor storing assessments, workouts, and wearable data. Implement integrations with third party APIs Deploy theAI engine(score generation, workout recommendation, predictions) via APIs. 2. Technical Leadership Work closely with data and AI engineers to define APIs and model deployment. Translate product and sports science inputs into scalable technical systems. ManageDevOps : cloud setup, CI/CD pipelines, code versioning, and server monitoring. Eventually recruit, mentor, and manage junior engineers and mobile devs. 3. Product Execution Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on product features with physiotherapists and users. Ensure clean, modular, and maintainable code for long-term scalability. Maintain high standards ofsecurity, privacy, and performancefor health data.Ideal Background & Skills Technical Stack: Frontend:React Native or Flutter Backend:Node.js or Python (FastAPI / Django) Database:PostgreSQL / MongoDB / Firebase AI Integration:REST / GraphQL APIs, FastAPI model serving Cloud:AWS or GCP (Lambda, EC2, S3, Cloud Functions) Version Control & CI/CD:GitHub, Docker, Jenkins / GitHub ActionsNice-to-Have: Familiarity withwearable data APIs(Apple HealthKit, Google Fit, Garmin Connect, Strava). Experience working withAI/ML engineersand model deployment. Knowledge ofdata visualization(D3.js, Recharts, or equivalent). Awareness ofhealth data privacy standards(GDPR, HIPAA).Soft Skills: You’re abuilder at heart— capable of independently delivering across the stack. Strong communicator who thrives incross-functional collaboration(design, AI, product, physio). Curious aboutfitness, biomechanics, and human performance .
