Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Management:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and timelines.
- Source and evaluate suppliers of high-quality materials and services, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budget constraints.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure favorable terms and cost savings.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations.
- Resolve any issues or disputes promptly to maintain project continuity.
Inventory and Supply Chain Oversight:
- Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials without overstocking.
- Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials to the construction site.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and reduce costs.
Collaboration with Project Teams:
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand material requirements and project specifications.
- Provide timely updates on procurement status and address any concerns related to materials or suppliers.
- Ensure that all procurement activities align with project schedules and quality expectations.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities and expenditures to senior management
