Job role : SAP BASIS CONSULTANT.Work Location : Bangalore.Work Mode : Hybrid.Immediate joiners and who is having 30 days notice period would be more preferable.S/4 HANA BASIS resource who has 6+ years of experience in HANA?BASIS on RedHat/SLES, with HANA configuration experience and have experience on setting up Databases. Cloud Administration, ASE and DB2 administration with SAP RISE experience.SAP S/4HANA Basis role on SLES (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server) involves managing the technical infrastructure for SAP S/4HANA systems, including OS administration, database management (SAP HANA), and SAP software deployment and maintenance.This role focuses on ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the SAP S/4HANA environment on SLES.HA and DR setup : - Experience in managing Cross region landscapes and setting up of HA and DR for S/4 HANA for both application, HANA, DB2 databases layer and backend services.OS Administration : - Managing SLES for SAP, including installation, configuration, updates, patching, and security hardening.- Configuring storage (Logical Volume Management LVM, RAID (DB Backend), NFS (Network File systems)) and network (bonding, VLANs) for SAP applications.- Monitoring system resources and performance, and tuning for optimal SAP performance.SAP HANA Database Management : - Assisting in setting up and maintaining SAP HANA databases.- Managing HANA database users, security, and permissions.- Monitoring HANA performance and tuning.SAP System Administration : - Performing BASIS activities like system/server administration, transport management, Fiori Launchpad configuration, web dispatcher/router setup.- Managing user accounts, authorizations, and system security.- Collaborating with SAP engineers to ensure the environment meets SAP and Problem Solving : - Troubleshooting SLES and SAP HANA-related issues impacting SAP operations.- Working with other teams to resolve complex issues.Skills and Experience : - Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, particularly SLES.- Experience with SAP S/4HANA architecture and deployments.- Familiarity with SAP HANA database management.- Experience with SAP Basis activities, including system administration, transport management, and security.- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
