The Information Security Officer (ISO) will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can lead and manage the organization's security efforts across various domains, including cloud security, traditional information security, firewall management, and device management.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Security
- Cloud Concepts, Architecture, and Design: Develop and implement cloud security strategies that align with the overall business objectives. Ensure that cloud solutions are designed and deployed securely.
- Cloud Data Security: Oversee the protection of data in cloud environments. Implement robust data encryption, access controls, and data loss prevention mechanisms.
- Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Security: Ensure the security of cloud platforms and infrastructure. Manage security configurations, monitor cloud environments, and respond to security incidents.
- Cloud Application Security: Secure applications deployed in cloud environments. Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices for application security.
- Cloud Security Operations: Oversee the day-to-day security operations of cloud environments. Ensure effective monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement of cloud security postures.
- Legal, Risk, and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Manage risks associated with cloud adoption and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
Information Security Management
- Security and Risk Management: Develop and maintain the organization's security and risk management framework. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Asset Security: Ensure the protection of the organization's physical and digital assets. Implement policies and procedures for asset management and protection.
- Security Architecture and Engineering: Design and implement a robust security architecture that aligns with business goals. Lead the development of security solutions and oversee their integration into the IT environment.
- Communication and Network Security: Ensure the security of communication and network infrastructures. Implement and manage network security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Oversee the implementation and management of IAM solutions. Ensure that access to information systems is granted appropriately and monitored continuously.
- Security Assessment and Testing: Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing. Identify vulnerabilities and ensure they are addressed promptly.
- Security Operations: Lead the security operations team in monitoring and responding to security incidents. Develop and maintain incident response plans and ensure timely resolution of security events.
- Software Development Security: Implement security best practices in the software development lifecycle. Ensure that security is integrated into application design, development, and testing processes.
Firewall Management
- Firewall Configuration and Management: Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of Fortinet firewalls. Ensure firewall policies are aligned with organizational security requirements.
- Firewall Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor firewall performance and security logs. Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and optimization of firewall rules and policies.
- Incident Response: Respond to and investigate firewall-related security incidents. Implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Microsoft Intune Management
- Device Management: Implement and manage device security policies using Microsoft Intune. Ensure that all corporate devices comply with security standards.
- Application Management: Oversee the deployment and management of applications through Intune. Ensure that applications are securely distributed and updated.
- Security Monitoring: Monitor and manage the security posture of devices managed by Intune. Conduct regular audits and compliance checks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in information security management and cloud security.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Proven experience in managing security operations, risk management, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewall configuration and management.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for device and application management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in security technologies and tools.
- In-depth understanding of cloud security architectures and platforms.
- Expertise in Fortinet firewall technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience required: 6+ years
