Key Responsibilities :

Teradata Development & Utilities :

- Design, develop, and implement efficient data solutions using Teradata.

- Proficiently utilize Teradata Utilities such as BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT (Teradata Parallel Transporter) for high-volume data loading and extraction.

SQL & Performance Optimization:

- Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.

- Apply advanced performance optimization techniques to ensure efficient data processing and query execution.

Architecture & Data Warehousing :

- Leverage a strong understanding of Teradata architecture to design scalable and robust data solutions.

- Apply deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).

ETL & Tuning :


- Lead ETL development efforts, transforming raw data into structured and ready-to-use formats.

- Conduct performance tuning for ETL processes and database queries to maximize system efficiency.

Problem-Solving & Security :

- Utilize strong problem-solving and performance troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex data-related issues.

- Maintain familiarity with database security and system availability practices to ensure data integrity and continuous operation.

Mandatory Skills :

Teradata Utilities: Expertise in BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT.

SQL & Optimization: Proficient in SQL and performance optimization techniques.

Teradata Architecture: Strong understanding of Teradata architecture and data warehousing concepts.

ETL: Experience in ETL development and performance tuning.

Data Modeling: Knowledge of database modeling (Star/Snowflake Strong problem-solving and performance troubleshooting skills.

Database Practices: Familiarity with database security and system availability practices.
