What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be the lead data scientist and technical content strategist working on native notebooks for Teradata products.

You'll put your strong writing skills to work, crafting notebooks (like Google Colab and other Jupyter Notebooks) to bring clarity and powerful functionality to Teradata product experiences.

You'll collaborate with designers, content strategists, product managers, and engineers to plan, structure, write, and improve notebooks.

In various notebooks and other touchpoints in the experience, you'll identify where AI can automate and simplify customer tasks, based on the customer's data, market, analytics functions, and other factors.

You'll coordinate your efforts with product managers, engineers, an information architect and other subject matter experts across the company.

And you'll be an advocate and expert for product notebooks at Teradata, helping shape the content strategy for how notebooks help Teradata customers get their jobs done.

Who You'll Work with

You'll collaborate with some of the leading scientists, AI innovators, and other experts in the field of data analytics. You'll become an expert in translating their visionary ideas into clear, findable, useful content that helps customers succeed.

Reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, you'll be part of a team of content designers and technical content strategists who simplify complex ideas and workflows and create valuable, intuitive customer experiences.

You'll coordinate your writing with designers, product managers, engineers, and other team members who work to design and deliver product experiences and documentation.

You'll be a collaborative, resourceful partner for the business as it discusses plans for notebooks throughout Teradata, and you'll team with design and product colleagues to help deliver content strategy and design that boosts those plans to success.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

Familiarity with data science and how enterprises use it to guide and grow their business, including knowledge of common tasks and tools for data analytics, such as Python, R, and SQL.

Strong writing and other communication skills, key to helping bring simplicity and usefulness to data analytics functions.

Knowledge of emerging trends and tools in AI—and how we might tap into those tools to automate tasks and present new interactions that help customers reach their goals.

Awareness of information architecture and how we can use it to structure notebooks to be findable, useful, and clear.

Experience working on SaaS-based initiatives and/or companies.

Strong organizational skills and can handle balancing multiple questions, requirements, and projects at the same time.

Strong interpersonal skills that are used to build rapport and make connections easily with colleagues and customers.
