Description : Job Title : GCP Data EngineerLocation : Pune (EON IT Park)Work Mode : OnsiteShift Timings : 10 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PMExperience Required : 4 - 8 yearsAbout the Role : - We are looking for a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our team.- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions.- This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data integration solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and security.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub.- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL queries to handle data extraction, transformation, and loading.- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.- Implement data models, including SCD Type 1 & Type 2, normalization, and best practices for data warehousing.- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all pipelines and data processes.- Optimize performance and cost of cloud-based data solutions.- Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprints, code reviews, and deployments.Required Skills : - Core : GCP, Python, BigQuery, SQL/PLSQL- Secondary : Data Warehousing, ETL Fundamentals- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.- Experience with large-scale data integration and migration projects.- Knowledge of cloud-native development and CI/CD processes.Good to Have Skills : - Experience with Data Quality implementation in ETL pipelines.- Familiarity with Agile project management tools like Jira.- Telecom domain knowledge.
