Job Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead Software Developer who will play a critical role in managing and mentoring a team of developers while actively contributing to the development of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Node.js, React.js, and MySQL, and should be comfortable working on both frontend and backend development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full stack developers.

- Drive code reviews, pair programming, and tech mentoring to build team capability.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization.

- Actively contribute to hands-on coding, debugging, and architectural planning.

- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and documentation.

- Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery from technical standpoint.

- Identify skill gaps within the team and organise training or guidance as needed.

- Maintain a strong focus on nurturing team culture, growth, and continuous improvement.

- Manage and communicate with stakeholders to align technical deliverables with business objectives.

Requirements :

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer / 2 years of managerial experience.

- Proven experience in leading or mentoring a team of developers.

- Expertise in Node.js and React.js.

- Strong experience with MySQL and understanding of relational database design.

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Proficiency with version control tools like Git.

- Experience with deployment and CI/CD processes is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Exposure to GraphQL and NoSQL databases.

- Prior experience working in EdTech or product-based companies.
