About This Role

This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing software engineering teams, fostering their growth and development. The Associate Manager will provide guidance, technical support, and mentorship to ensure team success.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software engineering, leadership, and project management. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Lead software engineering teams and contribute to the execution of the software engineering strategy.
  • Provide guidance, code reviews, and technical support to team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver successful software projects.
  • Assist in the professional growth and mentorship of team members.
  • Manage project tasks, prioritize work, and plan to meet project goals.
  • Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets for efficient project execution.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with at least 2+ years in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
  • Strong programming and debugging skills.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
