The Role

We are looking for a motivated and talented React Native Developer with at least 1 year of professional experience to join our mobile team. You will play a key role in building new features, enhancing performance, and ensuring a flawless user experience for our growing community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and ship new features for our React Native-based mobile application on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Work closely with our UI/UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive components.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate with RESTful APIs and other services.
  • Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in the React Native ecosystem.

Qualifications & Must-Have Skills

  • 1+ years of professional experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
  • A solid understanding of core JavaScript (ES6+) concepts.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux (with Toolkit), Zustand, or Context API.
  • Experience integrating with and consuming RESTful APIs and JSON.
  • Familiarity with native build tools like Xcode and Android Studio.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools, specifically Git.
  • A strong focus on UI/UX details and a passion for building beautiful, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and grow

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Detox).
  • Basic knowledge of native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Java/Kotlin) development.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions).
  • Previous experience in a fintech or startup environment.
  • A published app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
