Position : Senior Network Security Engineer.

Experience : 10+ years.

Location : Bangalore.

Skills required :

- 10+ years of progressively expanding responsibilities and experience in telecommunications, networking, technology management or security operations.

- SASE Certifications from vendors, such as Palo Alto, Zscaler, Fortinet, Netskope and Versa networks.

- Professional/technical certifications, such as CISSP, CISM or CISA.

- Knowledge of project management practices and experience with agile development process.

- Knowledge of Managed Endpoint Detection and Response (MEDR) solutions.

- Strong understanding of DNS functionality.

- Understanding of technology lab testing strategies.

- Must have experience working on Prisma Access and Zscaler in the past.

- Netskope, Versa and Fortinet are nice to have.

- Must have PCNSE certification.

Responsibilities :


- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive network security solutions to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.


- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends, implementing appropriate countermeasures.


- Manage and monitor network security tools and systems, including SASE platforms (Palo Alto Prisma Access, Zscaler), firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).


- Analyze security incidents, troubleshoot security issues, and implement corrective actions.


- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.


- Collaborate with other security and IT teams to ensure a holistic approach to security.


- Possess a strong understanding of DNS functionality and its security implications.


- Contribute to security architecture and design projects utilizing Agile development methodologies.


- Document security processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain compliance.


Qualifications :


- 10+ years of experience in network security, network engineering, or a related field.


- Proven experience with SASE solutions, preferably Palo Alto Prisma Access and Zscaler.


- Experience with other SASE vendors (Netskope, Versa, Fortinet) is a plus.


- Possession of a recognized security certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA) is highly desirable.


- PCNSE certification is mandatory.


- Strong understanding of network security concepts, protocols, and technologies.


- Familiarity with Managed Endpoint Detection and Response (MEDR) solutions.


- Experience with technology lab testing strategies for security assessments.


- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


- Strong communication and collaboration skills.


- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
