Senior Network Security EngineerPosition Summary:Technical role reporting to the Network Security Team Leader and focused on one or more technologies and related network security services: Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). This role will have a specific focus on 3M’s Zscaler technology services and will require expertise in both ZIA and ZPA to support ongoing projects, enhancements and engineering activities.

Job Description & Responsibilities:Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Provide input and recommendations on effective use of Zscaler capabilities based on industry experience and best practiceEmploy advanced troubleshooting of Zscaler issues escalated from 1st level support.Collaborate, support and influence strategic managed service partner(s) and vendors.Collaborate with and support Network Security team, Network Architect, Network Automation team, Cloud, CNF & DC Network team, Site Network Services team, Network PMO team, IT Security organisation. Area Infrastructure organisation's and other global IT product teams.Collaborate with varying levels of management within IT infrastructure, applications and Information Security to translate leadership directives into technical actions.Establish and manage documentation and standards in given technical area.Contribution to program/project planning, and budget expense information gathering and management activities.

Experience Required:Minimum (5) years IT professional experienceMinimum (3) years experience managing network security technologies and at least 3 years experience supporting

Zscaler ZIA/ZPA

Experience Desired:6-9 years of experience in network engineering / network security related roles with extensive experience in

Zero Trust Network Access and Secure Web Gateway technologies

Education and Training RequiredBachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
