Category Manager About the RoleAs aCategory Manager at Furlenco, you will own the full P&L and growth of your category across rental, selling in different Sales channels (D2C, Offline). This is a strategic and execution-heavy role where you will drivebusiness growth, profitability, and new product launches, while ensuring exceptional customer experience. You will partner with design, sourcing, supply chain, sales, growth, business finance and technology teams to create agile, scalable products.Key Responsibilities :Business & P&L Ownership Owncategory revenue, margins, and inventory healthacross rental and selling channels. Build and delivermonthly, quarterly, and annual business targetsaligned with company goals. Identify opportunities to drivegrowth, pricing, and assortment efficiencyusing analytics and customer insights.Assortment & Product Strategy Leadassortment planning, new product development (NPD), and lifecycle management. Conductmarket research and competitive benchmarkingto identify gaps and innovation opportunities. Collaborate with design, sourcing, and manufacturing teams tolaunch products faster, balancing cost, aesthetics, and quality.New Initiatives & Projects Drivecategory expansion projects, pilot launches, and strategic partnerships. Work with cross-functional teams (Tech, Ops, Growth, Finance, Sales) toexecute multi-stakeholder initiativesefficiently. Track and report project performance against defined timelines and KPIs.Customer Experience & Brand Performance Understand customer journeys to identify and eliminate friction points. Do Research, Surveys and come up with insights Partner with CX and Growth teams toimprove category engagement.Data & Insights Leverage analytics to track performance metrics (conversion, AOV, churn, margin, etc.). Build business dashboards andderive actionable insightsfor pricing, promotions, and product lifecycle. Continuously optimize forprofitability and operational efficiency.Leadership & Collaboration Work closely with senior leadership to align on strategy and execution priorities. Influence multiple teams without direct authority;lead through collaboration and impact. Build strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery goals are met.What We’re Looking For : 3 – 6 years of experience incategory management, merchandising, or business strategyin consumer, retail, or e-commerce domains. Proven track record ofdriving category growth and delivering on P&L. Strong analytical mindset with fluency inExcel/Sheets, data dashboards, and business metrics. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. A balance ofstrategic thinking and operational hustle— someone who can ideate and execute equally well.
