About Us:

As we prepare to introduce our brand to the market, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead operations, build the brand, and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities (KRAs):


Operations Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize service, kitchen operations, and bar management.
  • Ensure all shifts are fully staffed and manage team schedules effectively to maintain optimal operational flow.


Financial Performance & Budgeting:

  • Manage the P&L, including controlling costs, optimizing revenue, and ensuring profitability through effective financial planning.
  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs, labor costs, and operational expenses.
  • Work closely with ownership on setting and meeting financial targets, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a strong team, including kitchen staff, front-of-house staff, and bar staff.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, positivity, and high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and create development plans to help staff grow professionally.


Customer Experience & Engagement:

  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high service standards and addressing customer feedback promptly.
  • Handle VIPs, special events, and guest relations with professionalism and personalized service.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Bar Manager to curate unique dining and beverage experiences that align with the brand.


Marketing & Brand Development:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote the brand, ensuring visibility and engagement through digital marketing, social media, and local partnerships.
  • Create and execute in-house events, promotions, and initiatives to attract new customers and retain loyal guests.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the brand’s identity is reflected consistently across all customer touchpoints.


Vendor & Supplier Management:

  • Oversee relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure high-quality products at competitive prices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure efficient stock management for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies.


Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure the restaurant and bar comply with all local regulations regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
  • Implement and maintain safety and hygiene protocols, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.


Strategic Planning:

  • Work with ownership on long-term strategic planning for growth, expansion, and brand development.
  • Continuously assess market trends and competitive landscapes to adjust business strategies accordingly.
  • Innovate operational processes to increase efficiency and enhance guest experience.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior managerial role in the hospitality industry, particularly in restaurants or bars.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams across multiple departments.
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety regulations, and beverage management.
  • Experience with marketing and brand promotion is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
