Position Overview:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to the development and management of our job portal. This role requires a candidate with extensive knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, and experience managing a job portal. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while also maintaining the high quality and usability of the job portal.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Management:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects related to the job portal.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
  1. Budgeting and Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and within the allocated budget.
  • Track project costs and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate any financial risks associated with the project.
  1. Job Portal Management:
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the job portal.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the portal meets user needs and industry standards.
  • Monitor and analyze portal performance, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Ensure the portal's functionality, security, and scalability.
  1. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, budget, and any issues or risks.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure project success.
  1. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Mentor and guide team members, providing support to help them achieve their objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on budgeting.
  • Proven experience managing and maintaining job portals or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent financial management skills, with the ability to create and manage budgets effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with web development, UX/UI design, and digital marketing is a plus.
