Role Overview- We are seeking a proactive and skilled Team Lead - Web Operations to oversee the end-to-end management of our brand websites across Shopify and Magento platforms. - This role requires strong technical understanding, leadership capabilities, and the ability to streamline website operations at scale.- You will lead a team responsible for site maintenance, updates, performance monitoring, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a seamless and high-performing digital experience.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Management:- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Web Ops executives.- Set priorities, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of all website updates and deployments.- Build and maintain SOPs for website operations, QA, and release cycles.- Conduct regular performance reviews and skill-building sessions.Website Management & Maintenance:- Oversee day-to-day operations across Shopify and Magento websites.- Monitoring key site metrics including ATC, CTR (banners), Conversion Rate, Bounce Rate, AOV etc.- Ensuring the web & app are kept up to date with; correct offers, updated banners, new in products/brands, regularly updated category pages.- Doing extensive research, A/B tests & competitive analysis in the areas of product assortment, pricing strategy, promotion strategy, placement & positioning on the platform- Using analytics to gain a strong understanding of the customer journey to optimise sales, measure performance & define strategy- Monitoring conversion of key landing pages to improve where necessary.Technical Coordination:- Collaborate with Tech/product teams to resolve bugs, implement features, and optimize the platform.- Ensure SEO hygiene-redirects, metadata, URL structures, and page-level optimization.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Prior experience (4 yrs+) in website operations with an agency/ D2C brand/ E-Commerce platform- Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills- Exposure to SEO best practices and CRO tools.
