The role's core functions are :

- Monitor all business activities and ensure they produce the desired results in consistence with the mission and vision of the company

- Formulate high level business strategies and plans, also ensure their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives

- Work closely with the management as a part of the decision-making body

- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality

Strategic :

- To understand the business in entirety and initiate processes in line with the business requirements

- To formulate & firm strategies

- Driving subjects of critical importance with department leads

- Finalization of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) along with Management

- Providing market intelligence, competitive landscape and peer group analysis

- Updating top management on key developments in the sector

Implementation:

- Ensuring that reports from all the department leads are submitted to Director on timely basis

- Performing business risk assessment with audit heads and taking appropriate actions in consultation with the Director

- Handling cross functional roles as required

Other Tasks:

- Managing Director's calendar and agenda for meetings

- Responding to emails on behalf of Director
