About the role/Job overview:
- As a Sourcing Manager, one would need to align procurement of 100 cr annually required as per the production plan.
- Flexibility and expertise across the domain of Raw materials, Packaging materials, and Printing materials.
- This role requires strong delivery records, and proven experience to own and execute strategic partnerships with stakeholders to drive cost efficiency and deliverables.
- Strategic sourcing/ buying, Vendor Negations, Stock planning, timeline, and budget planning are the key working areas.
Role Responsibilities:
- A comprehensive role that involves all aspects of business.
- Analytical planning, range planning.
- Strong product knowledge, understanding of costing, fabric & trim knowledge, and understanding of the current market.
- Improving buying margins for the brand.
- Introducing new raw materials including fabric & trims.
- Should have an understanding of how to optimize cost for products.
Range Planning:
- Manage assortment planning and work along with the central planning team.
- Understanding of competing brands in personal care and FMCG.
- Collaborative Partnership.
- Liasoning with all stakeholders including design, Packaging, and sourcing & PD teams.
- Coordinating with sales and marketing for the growth of the category.
Experience & Requirement:
- MBA.
- PG operations or other equivalent degree.
- 3+ years of experience.
- Negotiation and understanding should cost model.
- Managing complex operations with a large team like Supply Chain, New Product Development, Procurement, and Contract Manufacturing.
- Plan supply basis demand.
- Passionate for social enterprises & startups in solving on-ground problems.
- Responsible for the improvement of the key subcategories of the portfolio the formulation, packaging & optimizing the product COGS.
- Select/ Identify new vendors, manufacturers, and concepts for new products or product improvement.
