Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales and marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing relationships with potential clients in the manufacturing industry and understanding their unique needs. The role demands a deep understanding of both manufacturing processes and software solutions, aiming to deliver tailored SaaS solutions that drive client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the manufacturing sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their business needs.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives and close business deals.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to craft compelling promotional materials and campaign strategies for the manufacturing sector.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team on client needs and market demands to shape the evolution of our SaaS solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience of at least 5 years in a business development or sales role, preferably in the manufacturing or related software industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to articulate how our SaaS solutions align with business objectives.
  • Experience in selling technology-based solutions to business owners and C-level executives in the manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present ideas and negotiate complex deals.
  • Strong analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field is highly desirable, as is a background in engineering or manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a similar company offering SaaS solutions targeted at SMEs in the manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
