Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Sales, India Region to build and lead our sales team in India, driving growth across corporate and entertainment media. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation in sales, who can inspire the team to achieve ambitious goals and expand our market presence.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the corporate and entertainment media sectors.

• Responsible for winning, onboarding, maintaining, and expanding relations with Clients.

• Build, lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.

• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

• Create and implement innovative sales techniques and campaigns to enhance client engagement and brand visibility.

• Monitor and stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

• Collaborate with internal teams to design compelling media solutions that meet client needs.

• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to overall business growth.

• Set and monitor sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure team alignment and accountability.

• Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

• Represent TransPerfect Media at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our services and expand our network.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field; MBA would be an advantage.

• 7+ years of experience in media sales or similar, with a focus on corporate and entertainment sectors.

• Proven track record of success with the entire sales process and successfully leading sales teams and achieving sales targets.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability to innovate and implement effective sales solutions.

• Strong leadership and team building skills

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
