Job Description :

Mandatory Skills :

- Must have Java based application support.

- JVM Tuning

- Root Cause Analysis

- Strong in GC Log Analysis

- Aware of Thread & Heap dump Analysis.

- Strong in Major Incident Management(MIM)

- Experienced in BFSI domain

- APM Tools - Dynatrace / Appdynamics etc.

- Experienced in Application Performance Engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Provide L3-level support for Java-based enterprise applications, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical issues, identifying and resolving recurring

problems to improve application stability.

- Monitor and optimize JVM performance, including GC log analysis, JVM tuning, and thread/heap dump analysis.

- Drive resolution of major incidents (MIM) by coordinating with cross-functional teams and ensuring timely communication and escalation.

- Utilize APM tools such as Dynatrace or AppDynamics to proactively monitor application health and performance.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement performance engineering best practices, focusing on scalability and resilience.

- Ensure smooth deployment and post-deployment support for application releases in production environments.

- Work closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and QA teams to address performance bottlenecks

and system-level issues.

- Handle incident and problem management in accordance with ITIL best practices, ensuring SLAs and business expectations are met.

- Maintain documentation of known issues, resolution steps, and knowledge base articles for ongoing support improvement.

- Bring domain expertise in BFSI, ensuring deep understanding of business-critical application workflows and data sensitivity.
