As a company, we have the ability to deliver websites on any of these platforms.Role OverviewThe Cascade CMS Architect / Consultant will serve as a technical and strategic advisor for our dev teams. This role is about system design, architecture, governance, and team enablement.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & DesignDefine Cascade site/subsite structures, foldering conventions, and reusable components.Architect structured content types, templates, and blocks for long-term maintainability.Governance & WorkflowConfigure and optimize role-based workflows for faculty, staff, marketing, and IT teams.Balance centralized control with decentralized publishing needs.Integration PlanningAdvise on integrations with DAMs (Bynder, Acquia DAM), accessibility tools (Siteimprove, Monsido, DubBot), and analytics (GA4).Guide API-first and headless Cascade use cases.Migration & PerformanceSupport high-volume content migration (5k–10k+ pages).Recommend caching, CDN, and hosting optimizations for scalability.Team EnablementTrain and mentor developers (India/Argentina teams) on Cascade best practices.Review code (Velocity, XML, XSLT, JS/CSS) and enforce quality standards.Develop internal “cookbooks” for common components and workflows.Desired Qualifications5+ years of CMS implementation experience, 3+ years hands-on Cascade CMS (Hannon Hill).Expertise in Cascade templates, structured content, Velocity scripting, and XML/XSLT.Strong background in accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) and higher-ed/government environments.Experience designing publishing workflows for distributed teams.Familiarity with common integrations: Siteimprove, DAMs, Cludo, Ellucian/Banner, GA4.Strong communication skills and ability to work across global, distributed teams.Bonus: Prior work at a Cascade implementation partner (e.g., Beacon, OHO, NewCity, Elliance, Stamats).Engagement DetailsType: Consultant / Contract (10–20 hrs per week to start).Location: RemoteDuration: 3–6 month initial engagement, with potential extension.Compensation: Competitive hourly rate / monthly retainer based on experience.Why Join Us?Small cohesive team and work directly with the Founder of the company.We are very employee-focused and have 5-Star ratings across Glassdoor, TrustPilot, and Google Business.We strongly believe in a healthy work and life balance and so provide a 100% Remote Work Opportunity from anywhere across India.
