About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to drive our Liabilities Business team (CASA) at IndusInd Bank in Digital department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and growing the liabilities portfolio, with a specific focus on heading a team of Virtual Relationship Managers (VRMs) and Team Leaders. This role requires strategic leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in achieving excellent results in balance sheet growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of Virtual Relationship Managers to achieve CASA growth and revenue targets.
2. Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the customer base and deepen existing relationships.
3. Foster a culture of sales excellence, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
4. Collaborate with product teams to design and launch relevant product journeys and services.
5. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
6. Ensure seamless integration with relevant digital channels and virtual banking platforms.
7. Monitor and report on sales performance, CASA growth, and revenue progress.
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in banking, with a focus on liabilities business.
Proven track record of driving CASA growth and revenue expansion.
Strong understanding of virtual banking, customer relationship management, and digital channels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirables –
Experience in private sector banking.
Knowledge of Indian banking regulations and compliance requirements.
Certification in sales or banking (e.g., CAIIB, CFP).
