Company Description Zener Maritime Solutions provides comprehensive Ship Inspection and Engineering services to the Marine and Offshore industry. With a team of over 150 Naval Architects, 120 multi-skilled technicians, and 20 support staff, the company operates from five strategically located geographies: Singapore, Mumbai, Rotterdam, Ningbo, and Houston. Zener Maritime Solutions ensures 24/7 global support for clients and their ships.·Executebasic & detailed engineeringfor shipboard electrical systems (newbuild & retrofit). ·Prepare and reviewelectrical drawings, layouts, cable schedules, SLDs, and MTOs. ·Conductload flow, short circuit, and protection studiesusingETAP. ·Ensure compliance withClass Rules, SOLAS regulations, and FFS (Fire Fighting Systems) requirements. ·Provideengineering supportfor cable sizing, breaker selection, relays, starter panels, and sequential logic circuits. ·Supportretrofit/upgrade projects(BWTS, scrubbers, automation). ·Review3D modelsusingNavisworksfor electrical integration. ·Liaise withclassification societies, clients, and multidisciplinary teamsfor approvals. Guide project teams to ensuretimely delivery of electrical design deliverables .Qualifications ·4-10 Years’ Experience (Marine Engineering / Consultants are Preferred) ·Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering / M. Tech in Power System Engineering ·Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Electrical), ETAP, and Dialux (Lighting Software) ·Experience with 3D Modelling software (Plant 3D) and Navisworks for layout/model reviews ·Strong knowledge of Class Rules for newbuild ocean-going and inland vessels ·Good understanding of SOLAS and FFS rules for marine safety and compliance ·Proficiency in ETAP (load flow, short circuit, fault analysis) ·Advanced skills in MS Excel (tabulations, load lists) and MS Word (reports) ·Familiarity with PLC basics, automation, and sequential logic circuits ·Ability to read and interpret SLDs, circuit diagrams, and P&IDs ·Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail ·Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal) and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams ·Positive attitude, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in teams
