Role Purpose: The position of Head – Worker Welfare & Camp Administration is not just a leadership role; it is an opportunity to profoundly impact the lives of over 250,000 temporary workers across various Adani infrastructure, mining, and EPC project sites. As a key driver of high standards in health, hygiene, accommodation, and transportation, this role enhances worker productivity, reduces attrition, and solidifies Adani's reputation as an exemplary employer in the infrastructure and mining sectors. This position calls for a blend of strategic vision and hands-on operational leadership to develop and implement welfare programs that are scalable, replicable, and cost-effective.

The candidate will be required to collaborate closely with government bodies, NGOs, EPC partners, and internal stakeholders. This collaboration ensures compliance, crisis readiness, and continuous improvements in worker welfare and camp management. Qualifications & Experience -

Education

Bachelor's degree in social work, Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field (mandatory).

Master's degree in business administration or public administration (preferred).

Experience

Minimum 25+ years of experience in large-scale worker welfare, camp administration, or human resource operations in EPC, infrastructure, defense, police services, or large industrial setups.

Proven track record of managing 50,000+ workers across multiple locations.

Strong experience in vendor management, crisis handling, and government liaison.

Preferred Backgrounds

Senior roles in Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Police Services, or Defense.

Senior HR/Admin roles in large EPCs, infrastructure, or manufacturing companies.

Experience in managing labour camps or worker colonies.
