Role : Java Technical Lead

Location : Mumbai (On-site)

Type : Full-time

Role Overview :


We are looking for a Java Technical Lead to join our core technology team. The ideal candidate will lead backend development efforts, particularly around scalable microservices architecture, while upholding clean code practices and enterprise-grade security standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build high-performance, high-availability systems in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities :


- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based microservices and enterprise applications.

- Architect scalable backend solutions using Jakarta EE and other modern frameworks.

- Ensure best practices in design patterns, coding standards, and system performance.

- Guide and mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership.

- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product, and Business teams to deliver high-quality software.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as needed.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and drive their adoption when relevant.

Qualifications :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.


- 6 - 10 years of hands-on experience in Java-based backend development.

- Proficiency in Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

- Familiarity with design patterns, multi-threading, and concurrency.

- Strong understanding of unit testing, CI/CD, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Proven leadership experience and a collaborative approach to team development.

- Experience in the FinTech or Payments domain is a significant advantage.
