Position Overview:

The Head of Demand Generation will lead all demand generation activities across Europe and India. This role is responsible for driving growth through a multi-channel marketing strategy, including email marketing, WhatsApp marketing for India, SEO, Google Ads, analytics, UX/UI, and graphic design. The primary objective is to generate and nurture leads, focusing on increasing high-quality user-generated quote requests, online orders, and chats.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies across Europe and India.
  • Align marketing initiatives with overall company objectives to ensure consistent growth in user engagement and lead generation.
  1. Channel Optimization:
  • Email Marketing: Optimize targeting, segmentation, and content for email campaigns tailored to the European and Indian markets.
  • WhatsApp Marketing: Develop and execute targeted campaigns specific to the Indian market to drive user engagement and lead generation.
  • SEO & SEM: Oversee all SEO and Google Ads efforts to ensure high visibility and traffic across key markets.
  • Analytics: Monitor and analyze marketing performance data to inform strategies and optimize campaigns.
  • UX/UI & Design: Collaborate with design teams to ensure all user-facing content is engaging, intuitive, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  1. Lead Nurturing & Content Marketing:
  • Develop and implement lead nurturing programs to move prospects through the funnel more effectively.
  • Create and execute a content marketing strategy that supports demand generation efforts, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and video content.
  1. Testing & Optimization:
  • Conduct A/B testing on campaigns and landing pages to optimize conversion rates and overall campaign effectiveness.
  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Tech team, including data preparation, product management, and engineering, to ensure seamless integration of marketing technologies and processes.
  • Collaborate with category marketing and revenue operations representatives to align demand generation activities with broader business objectives.
  1. Market Research & Insights:
  • Conduct ongoing market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  1. KPI Management:
  • Focus on delivering a growing number of value opportunities, measured through key performance indicators such as user-generated quote requests, online orders, and chats.
  • Regularly report on performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Manage the demand generation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Regularly evaluate the cost-effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  1. Team Leadership & Development:
  • Build and lead a high-performing demand generation team, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous learning.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in demand generation, marketing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the European and Indian markets.
  • Expertise in email marketing, WhatsApp marketing, SEO, SEM, Google Ads, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and graphic design best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth through data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the food ingredient or B2B sector.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and market nuances in Europe and India.

  • Growth in user-generated quote requests, online orders, and chats.
  • Improvement in lead quality and conversion rates.
  • ROI on marketing spend.
  • Performance of email, WhatsApp, and content marketing campaigns.
